The Woman in Our Society with the Women’s Group of B’kara
January 30 @ 9:00 am - 10:30 am
The social influence on gender received considerable attention throughout the years. Many women’s rights groups have been long established in their mission to eradicate gender discrimination, highlighting arguments that most of what has historically been considered the identity of a woman is nothing more than a social construct. Despite their efforts, traces of this influence still remain as many women around the world continue to live by certain norms which actually place them in a disadvantaged position. This talk attempts to eradicate the notion that a woman has an ascribed place in society and to empower women to have a life they feel is fair.
This talk will be held by Steve Libreri. Steve is a social worker and parent coach within Willingness. He offers parent coaching and social work sessions. He can be contacted on email@example.com.
