Rebecca Cassar Allen is a Systemic Family Therapist, who specializes in working with families, couples and individuals who are experiencing difficulties and distress in their relationships.
Rebecca values the importance of creating a safe space in therapy, within which the clients’ difficulties can be explored and communication can be facilitated. She believes that by collaborating with her clients, the therapeutic process can support families, couples and individuals in identifying and highlighting their best resources, which can be capitalized on to improve their present and future.
Rebecca graduated with an Honours degree in Psychology from the University of Malta. She then furthered her studies by attaining a Post-graduate diploma in Systemic Family Psychotherapy and proceeded to obtain a Master’s degree in Systemic Family Psychotherapy. Rebecca has a background of working in the field of community mental health. She also works as a family therapist in a community based service where she supports families who are facing various challenges, such as mental health complications and issues related to illness, parenting struggles, domestic violence, addictions, and couple and marital problems.
