Academy Volunteer Experience

Volunteering can expose you to gaining skills working with children from different backgrounds on a one-to-one level and on a group level. You will also assist us in research projects on a local and international level through data collection, data analysis and write-up. This can give you an opportunity to publish a paper with us. In addition, you will be participating in our ChatBar during multiple festivals, where you can expand your skills to working with adults, outside the clinic room. After beginning slowly, you’ll practise supporting us in client management and delivering presentations confidently. You will also run workshops and carry out intake meetings, supported by weekly training and supervision.
