Psychology and Philosophy in the Garden and Its Purpose:

Psychology in the Garden is designed to help children connect deeply with nature, fostering emotional well-being, creativity, and resilience. By immersing them in natural surroundings, we aim to support their overall development, encouraging curiosity, creativity, and a sense of wonder. In today’s fast-paced, screen-filled world, children have fewer opportunities to slow down, observe, and engage with the natural world. Nature plays a vital role in children’s growth, and this program provides the perfect opportunity for them to thrive, gaining invaluable experiences that nurture their minds, bodies, and emotions while having fun.

📅 Dates:

  • The camp will run for 9 Saturdays, from 26th April to 28th June, excluding 7th June (Public Holiday).

⏰ Time:

  • From 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m

📍 Locations:

  • In Malta, Psychology in the Garden takes place at Buskett, with an indoor backup location in case of rain.
  • In Gozo, Psychology in the Garden will be held at Masgar, Għajnsielem, also with an indoor option available in case of poor weather.

Our Saturday programme is designed to support children’s emotional well-being through meaningful, hands-on experiences in nature.

By blending child psychology in the garden with outdoor exploration, Psychology in the Garden helps children: build emotional resilience, develop self-awareness, strengthen social and communication skills, foster creativity and teamwork and form a lasting connection with the natural world

Children learn to slow down and recognise their thoughts and feelings through yoga, gratitude exercises, and mindful walks. The Psychology in the Garden programme improves the lives of young kids via encouraging them to do mindfulness and emotional regulation sessions.

Hands-on exploration of plants, insects, and ecosystems nurtures a sense of wonder and love for the natural world.

Nature-based arts, storytelling, and reflection activities give children space to express themselves freely.

Outdoor games, group challenges, and problem-solving tasks help build confidence and collaboration.
