What are Psychological Assessments?
Psychological assessments aim to provide an overview of the client's strengths and areas of need. These can be carried out with both children and adults. Usually, the client experiences difficulties which impair their functioning in a particular area of their life. Through the psychological assessment, the psychologist identifies the client's needs and the appropriate support to help the client. It can also lead to the identification of an underlying condition or disorder. At Willingness we offer assessments for both adults and children for: I.Q. testing, Dyslexia, Autism and ADHD. In addition, for children, assessments for provisions such as exam access arrangements and application for Statementing Board (applying for LSE support) are also provided.
