ACT practitioner Elena Marinopoulou is a Board Certified Behaviour Analyst who supports children, adolescents, and families through evidence-based behavioural strategies. Her work focuses on improving quality of life by addressing challenging behaviours, building functional skills, and guiding caregivers with practical, structured support.

Elena has a lengthy experience in working with individuals presenting with emotional and behavioural difficulties and their families in Greece, Ireland, Morocco and UK.

As part of her work at ABRC, ACT practitioner Elena Marinopoulou helped families manage picky eating. She also researched ways to improve children’s sleep through parent-led workshops and structured support tools. She volunteered in Northern Ireland and Morocco, training parents and staff supporting children with autism. In London, ACT practitioner Elena Marinopoulou used ACT with children, trained school staff, and supported texters via a crisis textline.

She has a strong interest in promoting inclusive sexual health, safety, and relationship education for individuals diagnosed with ASD or other special learning needs. She has an inclusive and systemic approach that includes parents, caregivers and other stakeholders into establishing appropriate sexual behaviours.

ACT practitioner Elena Marinopoulou is a member of the Association for Contextual Behavioral Science and the European Association for Behaviour Analysis.
