This workshop, led by Helen McGillivray, explores the challenges faced by individuals during perimenopause and menopause. It offers practical strategies based on Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).
ACT is an evidence-based approach that promotes psychological flexibility and mindfulness. It equips professionals with tools to support clients in managing the physical, emotional, and psychological changes experienced during this life stage. The seminar draws from Helen’s clinical experience and an emerging working protocol to comprehensively understand perimenopause and its impact.
