
Dr Ronald Zammit
Clinical Psychologist, Psychotherapist & Certified Clinical Trauma Professional
Dr. Ronald Zammit is registered as a Clinical Psychologist with the Health and Care Professions Council in the UK, and as a Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapist with the British Association for Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies and the Malta Psychotherapy Profession Board. Dr. Zammit graduated with a First Class Honours degree in Psychology from the University of Malta. He then worked for three years as a Care Coordinator at a residential programme for asylum-seeking families and unaccompanied minors, before relocating to the UK for 12 years.
During his time in the UK, Dr Ronald Zammit Willingness earned a Certificate and Master’s in Cognitive Psychotherapy. In 2019, he received a scholarship to pursue a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology at Southampton University.
Dr. Zammit has over eleven years of experience working in both outpatient and inpatient mental health settings within the NHS in England. He is trained in providing therapeutic interventions across the lifespan and addressing the full range of mental health conditions. In addition, he has received specialist training in Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) and has worked in a comprehensive DBT programme supporting individuals with Emotionally Unstable Personality Disorder. He is also trained in Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy.
Dr Ronald Zammit Willingness uses a compassionate, client-led approach with evidence-based therapies tailored to individual needs. He specialises in treating mood disorders, anxiety, PTSD, complex trauma, and various personality-related difficulties.
