Baby Sig and our Therapeutic Books

Research shows that emotional learning in early childhood builds the foundation for resilience, empathy, and mental well-being. With this in mind, we created our therapeutic books and Baby Sig, tools that go beyond reading, encouraging children to notice, name, and navigate their emotions with support and compassion.

Developed by mental health professionals, these resources help children, their guardians, and caregivers explore feelings together in ways that are both developmentally appropriate and emotionally meaningful.

This is Baby Sig.

He’s soft, small, and made to be there for your child when emotions feel a bit too big. You might find him tucked into a school bag, carried to the kitchen table, or resting on a pillow at bedtime. Sometimes he’s hugged tightly. Other times, he’s just nearby — a quiet reminder that it’s okay to pause, to breathe, to feel.

We created Baby Sig with love and care, drawing inspiration from our work with children at Camp Willingness.

He’s not just a soft toy, he’s a self-care companion designed to support children as they navigate the ups and downs of their day.
