Danica Cassar is a Warranted Health Psychologist. She occupies the role of partner within the Willingness Team. She is currently doing a Professional Doctorate specialising in Health Psychology at the University of Stirling. She has finished a postgraduate Masters of Science in Health Psychology at the University of Bath in England whilst also graduating with a Bachelor of Psychology (Honours) at the University of Malta in 2018. She is also a graduate member of the British Psychological Society.
She has worked with Willingness for the past 7 years, occupying various roles. She works with adults who would like to improve their physical health; implement healthy behaviours and changes in their life as well as supports individuals going through chronic illnesses such as cancer, sleep problems, diabetes and fibromyalgia. She also has experience supporting individuals who are experiencing health anxiety due to surgery, medical procedures as well as due to COVID-19. She uses skills from Cognitive Behaviour Therapy as well as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy to provide her clients with empowerment and insight on their journey.
Danica is also a Trainer within the team. She delivers mindfulness workshops, self-care works and health promotion amongst other topics.
