The Master of Psychology in Health Psychology at Domain Academy is a specialised program designed to equip students with the knowledge, skills, and insights required to excel as health psychologists. The course follows a biopsychosocial model, addressing the interplay of biological, psychological, and social factors in health and well-being. This program prepares learners to work in various settings, including community clinics, hospitals, and rehabilitation centres. It provides a comprehensive understanding of mental and sexual health, long-term conditions, and health behaviours, offering a holistic approach to health psychology practice. Additionally, students will engage in research, practical placements, and psychoeducation, ensuring a balanced blend of theoretical knowledge and practical experience. Graduates will be well-prepared to pursue a professional career as health psychologists, with eligibility to apply for a psychologist’s warrant in Malta.

The course is designed to be completed over three years on a part-time basis. The program is delivered through a mix of face-to-face learning (75%) and online components (25%), including lectures, workshops, and supervised placements.

The face-to-face components of the course will be held at Domain Academy, 102/104 Constitution Street, Mosta, Malta.
