Dr Marilyn Muscat has trained as an Educational and Child Psychologist in London.
She is registered as an Educational Psychologist with the Health and Care Professions Council in the United Kingdom and with the Malta Psychology Profession Board. Marilyn obtained her first degree in Psychology from the University of Malta. Two years later she obtained her teaching qualification in Personal and Social Development. In 2014 she pursued her studies by reading for a Doctorate in Educational and Child Psychology with the University of East London.
Marilyn works with individuals of different ages; from children in their early years to adults. Her role includes carrying out psychological assessments for children and adults to identify conditions/disorders such as Autism and ADHD. Marilyn also provides consultations for parents and educators and is involved in the provision of training services. Furthermore, she can provide therapeutic interventions to address her clients’ needs. Marilyn enjoys working with her clients to provide them with the support they need to see them flourish in their life. She believes that giving her clients a voice is important because every person deserves to make themselves heard.
