My journey with Willingness began slightly more than two and a half years back when I ventured into the realm of Gestalt Psychotherapy as a self-employed practitioner. My fascination with understanding the complexities of the human mind and behaviour dates to years ago. During my studies, the exploration of psychopathology ignited a deep interest in pursuing a career in mental health. Upon completing my Masters, the draw of engaging with clients in the private sector led me to Willingness, where I found the opportunity to do so.
The past couple of years with Willingness have been incredibly enriching on multiple levels. The organization maintains a high level of professionalism, and the team, along with mentors, has consistently provided unwavering support in my role as a psychotherapist. What sets Willingness apart is its diverse team of professionals, which enables us to address issues from various perspectives.
While working with individuals from diverse backgrounds and cultures, Willingness has been a source of continual motivation and learning for me. Each client encounter presents a unique opportunity to explore different approaches and tools. Despite the primarily one-on-one nature of my work, I have always found ample guidance from both mentors and colleagues when faced with challenging cases.
Continuing Professional Development Opportunities (CPD)
Willingness prioritizes professional development through regular team supervision and CPD opportunities, for which I am sincerely grateful. The team’s forward-thinking approach fosters an environment where new ideas and techniques are constantly being explored and shared. Collaborating with experienced professionals within the team offers valuable insights and enriches the quality of service we provide to our clients.
Team Building Activities
Team-building activities and dedicated team days are integral parts of the Willingness experience, fostering personal growth, friendship, and a deeper connection among the professionals within the organization. Despite the inherent mental challenges of being a psychotherapist, witnessing the progress and development of clients under the guidance of Willingness is immensely rewarding. The continuous support from the team and mentors, both professionally and personally, further reinforces my appreciation for being part of this dynamic team.
