On May 5, 2022, Ngħidu Kelma returned with the third workshop for 2022, covering the topic of working with parental alienation, at Razzett Antik, Qormi. Ngħidu Kelma is a long-standing series of workshops and seminars aimed at professionals and students from a variety of fields that discuss various current issues from a variety of perspectives.

There is rising recognition of the extensive harm caused by Parental Alienation to children, young people, individuals, families, and society as a whole. This workshop provided participants with the chance to obtain the basic information required to properly interact with the topic and the scenarios of casework participants present around the theme of Parental Alienation. Two main speakers were present: Dr Charlie Azzopardi, who is a Systemic Family Therapist with training in various psychotherapeutic modalities. Then the second speaker was Dr Azzopardi, who is a member of various local and European bodies safeguarding families and children’s interests and collaborating with various foreign entities.
